...I'll start.
Having recently referred to Oldbull (my full-time matey-pie, whose best feature is called "Sharon") as "Oldblubber" and "Fat Boy", I offer my deepest and most grovelling apology. I wish, also, immediately to retract my uncalled for assault on OB's slimline tonic-like figure and to wish him the best in his search for a suitably comfortable one-piece set of leathers which he will, no doubt, display in all his grace next Wednesday at Donington Park.
Having struggled, strained, stretched and sweated my way into my own leathers this morning (after five minutes I had to take them off again because of the lack of oxygen caused by my greatly restricted breathing
), and only now having regained sufficient awareness to realise the error of my ways, I trust this apology will be accepted in the true spirit of everlasting friendship in which it is offered.
