I’ve been saying he’s Beirut for years. I’ve never liked him and always found him quite nauseating. When I’m listening to the radio in the car and his obsequious voice comes on on some trashy advert, I hit the mute. He really makes my flesh crawl.

I watched the video of him, Holly Willoughby, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Whatshername and my first thoughts were that it was all very contrived.

Him burying his head in Willoughby's lap and reaching out to Holmes, while Ruth Whateverhernameis clapping enthusiastically - very stage managed.
Anyone would think he'd just won the Euromillions.
