Next time put the sidestand down first.Getting ‘knee down’ is for show..it doesn’t make you go faster.
Anyway, I got my elbow down twice while enduring motorised bicycling…..

Absolutely everything apart from the engine but mostly pipes that hit the deck on right hand bends and lift the rear wheel at 0.03 degrees of leanWhat’s not to like with the VRod?

Respect.I got both knees down in the same corner once
You're not supposed to ride a motorbike side-saddle.I got both knees down in the same corner once
I have to admit, I was no longer actually in contact with the machine when both knees were down
I've done that at Oulton Park.I’ve got my knee down, and then my elbow down
then shoulder, crash helmet, then earth, sky, earth, sky. Ambulance.

Yes that the whole point mate+1
I actually like it, although never tried one.
My opinion is something like that is the ideal "round the world off the beaten track" bike.
Enough power to move and light enough to manhandle and pick up easily.
I thought you could convert the 500 to electric start...?Yes that the whole point mate
I have ridden one very briefly and it was loads of fun, although quite expensive for what they are they are virtually unbreakable plus easy and cheap to maintain, compare that to something similar like a DR350 and they make perfect sense
I don't got far anymore and have lost the need to go silly fast so an MT would suit me down to the ground, I can buy a mt500 for not a lot but would never start the thing now, guess i have to get saving if I want a 350, i was looking last night and there is a place up north that seem a little cheaper than anywhere else, considering giving them a bell and seeing if they have a nice cheap project one
You can but they don't last very long, i looked into it when I had my 500 and didn't think it was worth the hassleI thought you could convert the 500 to electric start...?
