I already knew that, it was on a documentary about ofah about four Months agoOk, here goes..for the Only Fools And Horses watchers. I only found this out yesterday, it is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard.
Cast your mind back to the episode where Rodney is the drummer in a band called ‘ A Bunch of Wallies’ with Mental Mickey on vocals. After Del had stopped managing the band and Rodney had left the band the episode ended with A Bunch of Wallies performing their top ten entry ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ on Top of The Pops on Del’s TV.
I hadn’t realised that A Bunch of Wallies did actually appear on Top of The Pops that was broadcast live on Bbc without any reference to Only Fools. They were taken seriously, nobody realised what was going on. The band members even had conversations with members of Spandau Ballet who also took them seriously.
Totally bizarre.

A Bunch of Wallies was a music band in Only Fools And Horses formed by Mental Mickey and whom Rodney Trotter was a member of. Rodney was part of the band. He was on drums, and Mickey was the lead vocalist. 2 others named Stew and Charlie were on guitar. Mickey was known as Mental Mickey due to...only-fools-horses-tribute.fandom.com
