I'm really struggling with my mental health lately. After losing my mum in March, work trying to fire me after making a mistake the week after I went back and various so called friends who were quick to offer support but weren't actually there when I needed them, I'm having a pretty shitty, lonely, year.

Today, after I got back from the school run I decided to go for a walk. I like walking but my shoes need replacing so I put my trainers on. Trainers didn't go with my trousers so I put on my jogging bottoms. I only have jogging bottoms as I'm so unfit I know that I need to do something about it! lol

Anyway, walked for a mile to the local canal then walk turned into jog. I'd love to say that jog turned into run but I'm no where near ready to actually run!! but the important thing is, I jogged. Jogged, then walked a bit then jogged a bit more. I know exercise is good for your head but knowing it and dragging yourself out of a slump is another thing. So, 4.5 miles of outdoor activity and I'm back home, showered and feeling a little bit better.

Oh, telling one of the friends that weren't there for me what I thought of them has lifted a load too.
I know where you are coming from, very often I find making myself get out of the house is difficult, but when I do go for a walk and take my camera with me I feel much better.

I have found that unless people have been through the same experience as you they don't understand how you feel. When Malc passed away my families response was sorry to hear that now suck it up and get on with it, after Dad died my mum phoned me up and apologised and said she know understood how I felt

When Bev had a miscarriage in the late 80’s the worst thing said was by Bev’s best friend “Ah well, never mind, it’s not as though you were planning another baby anyway”

some people just don't think when they speak, recently a friends response when I told her a family friend had been diagnosed with terminal cancer was "it happens"

That was the car I looked at before the Toyota, lovely car but didn’t want to wait until January at the earliest.

Remember that in previous house.
Dangerous in fire, drips down and possibly sets fire to other stuff.

The adhesive is like granite.
I ended putting up Anaglypta with the bubble pattern. Couldn't get all the adhesive off, well, life too short.

Pebble grey. Black cars look good for around 100 yards from the dealership.
Now he tells me……

Some of the greys that are trendy at the moment are really nice….Dravit Grey with a light cream interior M850 floats my boat….
