Drove the MH in to get the aircon sorted out in readiness for a protracted trip to Europe shortly ( in my dreams :( ) then walked a couple of miles home across the Valley River park with miss Molly. Sorted out a rusty bolt on the Commando. Crashed out in the front room recovering from my long walk and waited for a telephone call to say to come and collect MH. Walked a couple of miles with miss Molly to collect the fixed MH. Had tea, now I’m recovering from all the walking.

Spent the afternoon erecting a trampoline for the Grandkids, it was preferable to listening to the out of tune singing of our joiner who was fitting the new floor, he's back tomorrow to fit new doors & skirting.
Put the fireplace back ready for tomorrow.

Half hour this morning trying to get an appointment with a doc, no go there, an hour at the medical walk in centre then told in a nice way to bugger off as there is nothing they can do, half hour talking to someone on the 111 service and 10 mins later a call back from her saying my own doc will phone me this afternoon ........... sure enough around 2pm a video call with the doc and meds sent over to the chemist .................... all of which begs the question why the fuck couldnt the doc have spoken to me in the first place without all that bollocks he obviously had the time :nusenuse:

Also cut the lawn and made a table top pretty difficult with only the use of one eye :nut:

Fitted a pressure relief valve to cure hammering in the water system that has started in recent months which turned out, much to my surprise, to be the result of high pressure and not low pressure.

Had a bit of trouble sealing the plastic gauge to the brass body, bet the gauge used to be made out of brass until someone decided to save a few quiz on manufacturing costs. Shame on you Honeywell.

For the sake of clarity, I am not and have never claimed to be a plumber.;)

You might not claim to be a plumber but why would Honeywell want a few quizzes to be saved on manufacturing costs?
