Rolfy - it was, but figured I would endeavour not to pick the same month as the EOSB (I know its close to, but then there are only 'so many' free weekends in any month!!)

It was me who read it wrong, and not you darling...Jan & the kids would be in Greece this weekend in September, which is why I had to change my post...

Cant find any B&B's withing less than a couple of miles, or less than ?90 per night...:xm

May still have to miss this one :cry:

I'll ring the pub and ask for numbers of local and reasonable B&Bs - they did say their are a few, and I'm sure I've seen signs all along that road!!! I'll post when I have the info.

I have a bit of a ride out sorted - with a late-ish lunch! Then a choice of straight bimble home, or a longer and prettier route!!!

Would be good if we could persaude some more to come - the pub where we are staying is Great! Food is lush, and it should be a fun weekend!!

well i have just been informed that I have fcuked up ( again ) and this ISNT the bank holiday weekend.

I am therefore already at 2 car events the weekend of this gathering - and doubt i could do oxford - santapod - leicester and somerset all in th same weekend.

So sorry all - I wont be in attendance :bang:
