XMAS toy ride

Manchester holds a 'TOY RIDE' in November where bikers supply toys etc or cash to help under priveleged and sick children over the festive period.
I will add the date / times as i get them..
I have done the last 4 of these and HUNDREDS of bikes turn out to make the short journey and bring the city to a halt.
If anyone fancies joining the parade just stick ya name on the thread and get your toys together. The whole day is run by the SALVATION ARMY (no they won't put you up for the night) and there are free coffee/tea + bacon sarny at the meeting point....

Lets have a group of BIRDS from the club turn up and show them how its done

OK folks

XMAS TOY RIDE on behalf of the SALVATION ARMY, to raise money and collect toys for children this Christmas...
The event gets bigger each year what ever the weather!!!!!

This year the ride will start from WILMOTT St, Manchester City Centre and terminate at the TRAFFORD Centre,, not a long ride but then its not about distance its about the giving and showing the bikers off in a better light.

the date is SATURDAY 20th NOVEMBER 2004, turn up with cash or toys, get a free bacon/sausage butty and a brew then join the convoy of 600+ machines for the pilgrimage through Manchesters city centre.
The atmoshphere is electric and the public love it so come on and get the day booked and lets have a turn out............please....

Not sure yet

Not forgetting Ian that my brother owns a motorcycle shop and believe it or not its full of motorcycles + the BB is insured, MOT'd and taxed, oh, and still mine!!!!!!!
The toy ride is for charity and as such i'm willing to drag it out and use it for the purpose of taking part. :f
Currently the bike is garaged with a clean bed sheet over it and hasn't run for nearly 3 weeks.
Are you coming or are you just gonna sit bleating about me and my bike and wether or not i should be using it............ g0551p
