No worries Madhouse

I just don't want to end up following someone in the far distance in an area I don't know.
We use a rear-end sweeper, who stays at the back at all time (and knows the route)
There will be a mixture of sections/pace to cater for all. There are some 'free' sections where it's a straight A to B, to allow anyone to blow away the cobwebs if necessary, but it's not compulsory.
Come along, enjoy yourself, and have a word with Clive or myself if you feel over-pushed.

Madhouse - don't worry about being left behind. My other half only passed her test in November and hasn't been able to ride for the last 7 weeks so could be a bit rusty by the time it comes to the ride-out. If she finds the pace too quick then I'll be dropping back to stay with her and we'll just catch up at the meeting points if necessary - if I don't, I'll be in trouble and I quite like my bollocks where they are thank you c7u8

Just come along and enjoy the ride.

Nigs mate, I am not actually 'worried' about being left behind. I havn't passed the IAM on a bike (yet) but I have for a car. My concern came about from the thought of a 'gentle play' to 'full bore' of the mention of high speeds and not holding anyone back. Since Clive and Quiney have made their point more clearly there won't be a problem. So..........weather permitting (shields up) I will do my best to be there.

Perhaps someone may be able to spend some time with me to show me just how to actually get me knee down on this bitch, as it looks an awful long way down to the deck 8l1nd

See your point now - should have read it properly the last time. Only managed to get my knee down once - the road had an evil camber, my foot slipped and the bike ended up on my left leg, but I wouldn't recommend that technique - it could become expensive c7u8

They have all different rooms, some en-suite.

If I leave the M6 @ J36

onto the A590, I take it I can't access the road leading to Dobsons garage,so have to take the second right and follow the road round. 8l1nd

Parking at Helmsley

For those that may not know, the parking at Helmsley is NOT free (it's 80p per bike), and yes there is always someone on duty checking that bikers are displaying a parking ticket :bandit: . However, there is a damn good pie shop in the market square, and this fat bastid will be eating them!!!!!!!!

If it's a nice sunny day then I'll be surprised if the Police are not patrolling the A170 between Pickering and Helmesley and Helmesley to Stokesley. Sunday is usually the worst day, but keep a look out.

Weather Forecasting~~~

As the forecast looks err...err...."Challenging"

It would be remiss of me not to formally pass over to Clive the Midlands Massiv Sun God

He hasn't let us down yet [the SunGod that is!!!!] - so take good care of him Clive and I'll have him back on Monday morning please !!
