Trump visit

I presume although can't be certain that you're talking about Saudi Arabia Barrie the bigot , who are by far the largest exporter of terrorism yet have been left of the list because of oil you say ... maybe ...

But They are the direct financiers of most islamic terrorism. But not banned.

Responsible for 9/11. But not banned.

I was trying to lighten the mood, Mick. I didn't give Saudi a thought. Not agreeing with leftie thinking doesn't make me a bigot.

I wasn't implying that you were bigoted Barrie, although somebody seems to have selectively chosen that word from what I had posted.

The countries the bigot Trump has excluded from his list are those with oil or those with whom he has business interests.

He might be better addressing Americans who shoot Americans due to their lax gun laws.

I do realise that the Queen has entertained equally unsavoury characters, but just feel its rather soon for her to be tangoed h1d1ng2

He's only been in office for 11 days, give him a chance 8rfl@

Obama did fuck all about blacks killing blacks in 8 years, if anything it got worse leaving America more racially divided than since the 70's and this all happened before trump even said he would run.

Challenge and be angry at Obama in that he failed and not Trump on what he hasn't done yet in 11 days

I thought that the power vacuum caused by regime change in Iraq and the support of various rebel groups in Syria led to the rise of Islamic State across both of these countries..Hence the temporary ban on travel...Trump has stated that he plans to destroy Islamic State has he not???

He won't achieve this with a temporary ban . They can't just hop on a plane to the US lol

Alternative facts are rife on here aren't they :wank:

Yes, I've read your posts which lately seem to be obsessed with wanking

6 of the 7 countries on Trumps temporary suspension implementation actually do have themselves, long term permanent bans on people who hold an Israeli passport but there seems to be no problem for the very same moaners asking for equality for all.

One of those countries, Libya, also has a permanent ban on people who are Iranian, Syrian and Palestinian visitors. Yet again however, no moaners present claiming parity or equality seem to have a problem with this.

Nope, the suspension applies to peoples from those countries, it does not mention religion at all, could you show me where it says muslims will be banned from those countries? but everyone else from those countries can come in?

Most of those countries have some form of multi religions unless you are saying Islam is the only religion in those countries?

If it was a Muslim ban then many more countries than these would have been affected

Come off it noobie, this is a ban on Muslims from these predominantly Muslim countries. It's like saying that if travel from Scotland to USA was banned then it is not aimed at Scots.

Also the ban on veils in Austria is not quite as clear cut as suggested in an earlier post.

Which sounds lovely andy but you re incorrect. Until that country is 100% Muslim then you cannot say it is a muslim ban and you know that as many muslim countries also have christian, sikh and jewish members of their populations.

If it was a muslim ban then many more countries would have been on that list and again as mentioned, these countries were identified by Obama and the visa waiver programme being adjusted by obama for these countries due to their risk.

As to Austria, in what way is it not clear cut?

He has banned Muslims from countries who refuse to supply information about any suspect terrorists.

Semantics. We are not going to agree on this:dunno:

Austria - it is not a ban in all public places.

Everyone with dual nationality are allowed to enter these countries .

Alternative facts are rife on here aren't they :wank:

alternative facts can be dressed up whatever way you like, the fact is there are still people banned from entering other countries because of where they are born, but as long as they can claim dual nationality then all is well with the world I suppose :wank::bang:

Because it symbolises the oppression of women.

Not to mention not knowing who is behind the "Mask"
If I decide to walk around with a balaclava covering my face, how long would it be before I was the subject of police attention?

I have problems with all of this :dunno:

On the one hand I detest the bloke I think he's a power hungry egotistical twat & a criminal to boot

On the other hand it appears he's trying to do what he said he would all be it without upsetting us trading partners

So I reserve judgement until the dust settles a little

Good point Derek, assuming that wearing the 'veil' is not 'voluntary'

Hard one to figure out. When I was briefly in Cairo (horrible place) there were a lot of small groups of women in the full black kit with veils wandering round surrounded by what can only be described as male bodyguards keeping others away from them. These women didn't give any impression of being oppressed, rather the opposite.

Complex.

"Voluntary" is a very subjective term in this case, if you have spent all your life being told to act in a certain way, wear certain clothes, denied an education & not allowed an opinion, threatened, abused & made to think you are worthless then you may well think that wearing a veil is "voluntary" as it becomes the norm

just saying

Living in a hot country who would voluntarily dress from head to toe in black?
Muslim women may give the impression that they are wearing the niqab voluntarily but I doubt that they would do so if they were really given a choice, many Muslim women in this country have lived here for over 30 years & still do not speak English, many have not even ventured to the local shop unaccompanied.

So what . You are being disingenuous to the extreme here .

You do realise that trumps election pledge of banning all muslims is against the constitution , so he wouldn't be permitted to do it even if he wanted to . How ingnorant are you ?
