What, soccer and brilliant mentioned together! I thought that was an oxymoron! Soccer sucks big style and the only good thing about the soccer world cup is that the roads are empty as all the dipshits are in the pub!Samster said:For anybody that may have missed it:

Roll on 2008 when the proper world cup is on. If the IRFL can sort themselves out, that is.

My dad is a LUFC fan and tried to get me into soccer when I was younger. I even played and I was quite a good goalkeeper. Then one day I went to Odsal to see Bradford Northern and I have been hooked on Rugby League (and union to a lesser extent) ever since. I now find soccer to be tedious and boring. I find most people who say they support it never go to a match and only watch on the telly. It's a safe bet to say I will not be watching ANY of the world cup. Unless I can't go to sleep...derek kelly said:The usual response from someone who has no decent local team to support, Mortis take the trip to Elland road it's worth it they play with a proper shaped ball there. :yo:

Well, you've just lost your tenner 'cos I have not watched a soccer world cup match for the last twenty four years. If England made the final, I would not watch it as I will be out on my bike enjoying the empty roads.DIRTY SANCHEZ said:I find most large capacity motorcyclist who talk up their riding exploits should really be riding something a tad smaller, so what :dunno:
Oh, and I bet ya one of Wolfy's tenners that if Engand make the semi's you'll be glued to the box; just like the other 50% of the population who don't normally have any interest in football !!!

I play LEAGUE, not union (although I have played union!) so there is no rucking involved:-:DIRTY SANCHEZ said:Ain't lost anything mate. All that roggering, rucking and male bonding must've affected your reading skills as I actually bet one of Trotsky's tenners! :}
