What, soccer and brilliant mentioned together! I thought that was an oxymoron! Soccer sucks big style and the only good thing about the soccer world cup is that the roads are empty as all the dipshits are in the pub!

Roll on 2008 when the proper world cup is on. If the IRFL can sort themselves out, that is.

My dad is a LUFC fan and tried to get me into soccer when I was younger. I even played and I was quite a good goalkeeper. Then one day I went to Odsal to see Bradford Northern and I have been hooked on Rugby League (and union to a lesser extent) ever since. I now find soccer to be tedious and boring. I find most people who say they support it never go to a match and only watch on the telly. It's a safe bet to say I will not be watching ANY of the world cup. Unless I can't go to sleep...
