Erm...... so the conclusion is, that this is not a 2005 model?
Looks like a 2005 to me :)
It has silver brake and clutch fluid pots
I take it back about the cans, the connecting pipe is fatter on the >2001 ( digi dash ) ones and in the first pick they looked thinner

Thanks Jaws,

Was having a little uneasy feeling there for a moment. All good now though. Cheers

A lot of folk do a cat delete anyway :) So even if the cans had been changed it is not exactly a terrible thing !

It’ll be far better if you don’t buy it or you may end up just keeping it in the garage, looking at it and never actually riding it.
Whatever you do, don't post any pictures taken within the vicinity of your house, garage, garden, patio or friends of this mighty machine or you risk being torn to shreds by the weed counters, paving police and brick pointing experts on here, the majority of whom don’t even own a motorcycle.

Welcome to the nuthouse.

At least where you are at the moment you're relatively safe from most of the reprobates on here...... I did say most

The bike looks fine to me from the photos.
The brake reservoir colour looks correct for a 2005, they went from what had been the normal black to silver.
As do the silver colour slightly raised fairing logos.

Given its had a few sensible mods I don't think you need worry.

The carb cans are a straight slide onto the EFI model, it means no Cats and I think slightly more raspy noise.
I have 2003 EFI and I have a spare set of carb cans for it.

I also have the fake carbon surround on the instruments.
In my case it was because the very light tint ffabri double bubble caused the sun to slightly melt the original. The carbon fibre effect unit is very solid and just sticks on over the original.
I can't find one of those.

Yes, they shouldn’t be allowed on here.
