hunstanton on the 26th sounds good to me.. cept someone nicked the pier ?? and the chippie underneath it ffs ..lol morning best for me..gotta take g/f home in afternoon.... hmm maybe she could get bus instead :dunno:
Just thought that a sunday might be quieter on the roads. I cant make weekdays unfortunatly but if you wanna make it a Saturday, I cant make either of those dates.
Some of us have a distance to ride you know, (Have to find out WHERE Hunstanton is fer fecks sake!!). How about 11. Dont have a clue fer meeting point, never been there you know.
Whats the plan for when we get there? just meet up, have a giggle, terrorize the populus???
How about on the Seafront by the old pier (which burnt down so I'm not quite sure if this is of any help) but if it's even half decent weather, you'll see other bikes parked up,.......
for a pie and a pint, at between 11.30 to 12.00 for a pie and a pint (or fish and chips with a coke if that's yer fing). On the 2nd Feb. This year.
bearing in mind the geographic spread of everyone .........
What about Grafham Water, just off the A14 west of Huntingdon. We could meet at the A1 /A14 services, ride to a pub that I know is near Grafham and do the pie and pint thing again.
(Or Hartford Marina, .............is this getting silly again?)
In any event I think Bubba will still have the longest run cos Ipswich is a bit out on a limb.
HI, Hunstanton about 11'sh it is then .
As other thread said, if weather is half decent, there will be a few bikes there,
For those who rode up from the last bash will know Hunstanton is getting a good name for bikers to meet up on a nice sunny day,(several hundred) lots of holiday makers make a point of walking up to the bikes and wishing they was on theirs.
Hope the weather is half decent, and it will be a good turn out.
see ya there
I loikes the sounds of Fish and chips with a coke, hunstanton it is!!
Had a look at the old Auto route, 89 miles and 2.5 hours!!!!
