I'll arrange to open the clubhouse on Friday if peeps want to come down then. Can't get a food van for it, but there's takeaways about 5 miles away so one car could probably do a food run for all, unless you want me to throw together a large curry/Spag Bol? And I'm sure I can organise bacon butties for Saturday morning.

I'll also add a list of attendees to the initial post, when I have time.

Artemis, had hoped to come to this and meet up with some more Bird riders and pay hommage on your birthday. Unfortunately Mrs M is leaving her job and has thoughtlessly planned a weekend away with some nurse mates. I have to stay at home and look after the brats. I did offer to go with them but they politely declined!

Just tell the brats they don't know what they're missing. There were quite a few reluctant brats (from 12yrs to 25yrs) at Hunter's 60th party and every single one of them said afterwards things like awesome, and bril.

The olds are better at partying than the brats, we've had plenty of practice!

Grandson of 2 and a half will be there as will various other small sprogs and intermediate ones, with lots of surrogate grandparents to play with them if you do want to come.

oops forgot about this post, kenny's just been back in hospital today cause of the leg he snapped clean off just below the knee! it appears the screws used to piece it all together are burrowing in under the "tibia plateau???" so it looks like even if i get down i will be working. he's on his way up for a weekend rest and recuperation so i'll hit him with the idea tomorrow:yo:
