So what was up with Rossi's bike then???

I've not seen anything said yet....... was it an electrical failure??, fuel ???

Now't mentioned anywhere from the team..... how hard is it for them to say xxx failed............. why the deafening silence??

Not as if it's cruise liner they have to search through to find the problem area...

1. Wheels going round.... yep.... not that then..
2. Rider on the bike.........yep.....not that then..
3. Tyres got air..............yep.....not that then..
4. Fuel in the tank.......... ???
5. Engine OK mechanically.???
6. Electrics working..........???

See I've already filled 1-3 for them...... why the great secret.....

we were there

& saw the incident,, & watching it from the Helicopter camera,, Rossi was pushed wide into the dunlop Chicane & basically had know where to go,,they were all fighting for the same piece of Tarmac,,, rossi was lucky to stay on,, local lad was un lucky. midget rode a good race,( he is only 20 remember), but Le mans suits the yam better than the Honda,, ole mullet face looked like he wasn't even trying bl4hbl4h bl4hbl4h

great races though & nice to be there.

Eric...M8.... Pedrosa might be a Pud Puller but that's still better than being a Shirt Lifter, and there's nothing wrong with Pud Pulling (so I've been told). Anyway Pedrosa let Rossi go by and what does Rossi do? He stops by the side of the track and then gets a taxi back to the pits, so whats that all about then?
But who has more points in the championship....Hello its all gone quiet.
Zippo.

Nope! Not even gonna try to top that!

Brilliant...Absolutely brilliant, M8!! :bow: :yo: :}

See ya next week!!!

Has anybody actually watched the replays of the first corner?
I've seen it a few times on SKY, Sam, and it looks like Rossi's gamble on an overtake failed by about a couple of inches. If he'd hit Pedrosa's tyre any harder then both of them would have gone down, I think!

Pure racing incident; I reckon if the same situation had arisen at almost any time in his career - not just in MotoGP - he'd still have gone for it.

Rossi is the ultimate in ruthlessness when it comes to winning races, despite his outward charm: ask Gibernau - ask Biaggi - ask them all and I'm sure they'd tell you:

"Rossi is still the King - still the one to beat." :yo:

...GREAT, innit?! :-:

Wha-hey! Pedrosa and Stoner will be a year wiser - (and there's a distinct possibilty that Pedrosa could be the reigning World Champion by then!).

If Rossi has signed for next year, then MotoGP has just got even better!! k1ap k1ap k1ap

Looks like Rossi is back on song.... Mugello was a good win and a cracker of a race... even if I thought he'd cocked up when he went from 1st to 5th... more bike troubles maybe...?

...Va-LE..!!!!!

w;;v I keep thinking that it can not get any better...then it DOES! We just got back to the hotel a couple of hours ago after the most brilliant day of racing I have ever seen!

You can lull yourself to sleep reading the full report when we get back - but if you watched the race I am sure you will agree that you have seen some of the best, most dramatic, hardest racing you have seen in a long time (no apostrophes on Italian keyboards - did you spot the "formal grammar, folks?).

...The King is back...

...LONG LIVE THE KING!!!...

Superb race and Valentino deserved the win - glad it was he and Loris battling for the 1-2

I loved VR's quote after the race - "I decided to wait a bit, closed the throttle for a split second and went from the lead down to 5th place!"

Best race of the year............. did you see Stoner's bike try to kill him!

As you know I am not Rossi's biggest fan, but I will admit to that being the best bit of riding I have seen in a very long while, as most on here I thought he'd blown it when he dropped to fifth but hats off to the fella he proved why he is the best around.
