Ok... Just off the top of my head what about the deauville ,,, or even better ( !!! ) the Riviera ? Now that really was a world wide success.. Well it is if the world in question is number 23, Pine Avenue, East Grinstead, cos rumour has it the only person to have actually bought one lives there

Yes: the old bike looks heavy and dated - but it still holds the eye in the most evocative way. It's a BIKE.

It's unfair to compare the best looking bird ever (silver) with the ugliest coloured VFR (red)
Now if you were to reverse the colours around it would look a totally different story

Well here's my ten penneth, even if I could afford one I wouldnt buy one. Its pig ugly and it looks like a bodged attempt at a sports version of the Pan, or am I the only who see's that?.

It's unfair to compare the best looking "tourer" ever with the VFR1200F - the ugliest "Sports Tourer" Honda ever built, regardless of colour. No matter what paint you smeared over it, the VFR1200F would still be an ugly piece of sh*t compared to the 10-year-old, mature yet timeless beauty of the original Blackbird.

The Double X might look old and dated, but it weighs around 50kg less than the half X. To me this VFR looks like all the other bikes out the including a Fazer. Now I know I'd never buy new... but I'll not be waiting for used ones to come on the market.

The M.D in the video and the bike both look remarkably clean after a 5 hour??? ride on fabulous roads, not a fly mark on 'em.
18 litre tank!!!! Someone on here said it will be economical so no need to worry about the tank size...are you having a laugh c7u8!!!!
Luggage looks very small for a sports tourer???

I can find fault with the new VFR just looking at it and its spec, I still love the XX after 4 1/2 years of ownership... no competition.:-0)

...In terms of looks/poser points/ownership. Pretty pointless being faster if it can't go as far and even worse if it's more expensive to run and maintain.
