Hi Guys.
At the risk of starting all the comments off again, Has anybody actually seen one of these in the flesh yet? Sat on one? Or are we all just basing our thoughts on what we've seen in the press?
I'm kind of assuming that John's seen one, but is there any in showrooms yet?

I sat on one at the NYC motorcycle show yesterday....

the bike looks better in person than the pics.. but.. it looks like a K bike...kinda forward plastic and long swingarm... maybe even better looking out on the street.... but certainly not a stunner like a XX was (and still is in my mind)

Also, the bike is very low to the ground.. (easier for the shorties).. you feel like you sit in it...

I met with two of the most senior Honda people out from California (they came to look at a 1985 VFR500 wih 67 miles on it that my buddy has in his garage here in Brooklyn.. it was one of those bikes that you alway hear about.." parents bought it.. then the guy dies before he hardly rides it")

they explained that the VFR1200 as the personality of the older VFR800s ... but certainly not an XX ... 580lbs wet... ouch.

Someone i know has just bought a VFR1200 ex demo bike . His recent bikes were a Sprint and Vtec 800 and i will post anything worthwhile i hear about it but it will just be his opinion . He paid ?13,000 with a box and panniers fitted !

How the fook can you have an EX-Demo bike when they haven't even been launched over here yet?

Only way would be if an EX-Journo one was up for sale and I doubt the wisdom of ANYONE who's bought ANY bike thats been knowingly ragged by a journalist
