not sure how the new engine rules are going to pan out tho, personally I think it will favour the factory teams even more again :dunno:
Its more expensive to fit the quality endurance parts than it is to strip the engine a few times, so its going to be down to who spends the big money at the off c7u8

Stoner will be up too scractch right from the off this year..so he looks a good bet..
Hope Honda have sorted Pedrosa's fueling out then as I'm sure he will a tad faster this years as well..

This is the latest I've seen.

It’ll tighten up a bit, towards the end (as the actress said …), but it IS unusual to see Rossi go this well in pre-season testing.

Looking at the times updating last night I almost choked on a cuppa seeing Ben Spies leading in the last hour, ten minutes to go and Rossi is down in third and I'm thinking he might have to eat his words saying Ben may struggle in first year.

Sure ol Rossi pops another fast lap in at the end to turn the screw, sure Stoner is up there again, but Spies and Edwards are in top four so what with Ducati toning down the bike to allow Hayden to ride it it could mean that Yamaha have a dominating bike.

The question is how many wins for Rossi this year, I go with 11, Stoner 2nd and Spies 3rd.

Also Spies will win Laguna, cos don't think Rossi can get past those elbows at the corkscrew.

yep, big congrats to Stoner a very worthy champion and won it on merit and not other peoples misfortunes .. I bet Philip Island meet is going to be one hell of a party

which brings me to the other main point...

If the Ducatis were supposed to be the fastest things bar none out there, they would finish 1st 2nd 3rd 4th every race .. The fastest thing out there was Casey, nothing to do with bikes, tyres, teams etc

1.55'9 is more than 1.56'8, M8. That means Dovi took less time to do a lap than Spies…
