she was not impressed with my little jaunt to the triumph factory.....well more like the manner Rhino and I actually rode there..............still brings a grin to me face, never had to hang off the blackbird before whilst on a motorway bend......whilst staring at the scared eyes of a jag driver.........was truely mad that day. top ride.

I'm really really looking forward to Friday!!!! Nearly all went wrong when my Dad tried to change our lunch date (the reason I'm in Manchester) from Friday to Thursday, but managed to persuade him to ask the other person to change instead - Lunch with his daughter is surely more important than lunch with some senior business blokey!!! (and I told him he'd have to find me somewhere to stay for both thurs and firiday nights!!!!)

Pablo, I get home around 6.00 pm from work normally but would be planning to try and be home for around 5.30pm Friday.

Best bet would be if you could make it to me, plenty of safe parking (might even find space in the garage!!). If I pick you up at BS's I'd have to drive to Chester and then pass back along the same roads!!

Also if we head off from my place we could always decide to use the bikes if the weather took an unexpected & amaziing turn for the better .....


If you drop me an e-mail to work (gerry.tobin@manairport.co.uk) I'll sort out some directions etc tomorrow - will also be able to make certain I've got an "early float" sorted for Friday.

Mozza, in the summer evenings I was able to "clear a few cobwebs" by doing the Matlock-Buxton section with Rhino & Murt on the way home before I split off.

I found it great fun having a "brisk stroll" ............... and Rhino always carries a damp cloth for clearing the dead flies off the visor ........ I kid you not that on one evening it was almost impossible to see out the visor for dead flies by Buxton :yo:


Roll on the summer ........... it's also worth the odd evening to Bassets Pole as welll then........
