I have to be a little guarded because, shock horror, there are some people out there who dislike the Police.

Lucky you aint from Leicestershire constabulary. I feckin dislike that bunch of bastids even less.

Anyrode you are just another serving job just like a few more on the site. Except Rhino, cos he's just a mancunian flat foot man8um

Like everyone says mate, just go for it, it has got to be worth ?85 and you will probably find that its worth a hell of a lot more! If you can find a club that has a good social side as well then its even better.

I'm involved with the Gwent group of the IAM so am a little biased but for ?85 quid i can't see how you could fail to be pleased with what you get out of the IAM course.
