I tried his slippers on whilst he was 'nodding off' ( you know how it is at that age ).. They were a bit big, but two pairs of socks should do it

I did put a kink in the oxygen pipe, but unfortunately it was the blokes in the next bed.............. Bit of gurgling went on, but nothing that can't be fixed.. ish.

Oh well

Is he a biker and have a pair of nearly new boots too ???

No. . . Thought of that. . Not a biker, and his watch wasn't to my liking either, strap was a bit tight. Will have to 'wander' into some other wards next time . . .

Matron!! Pah.

It was her that threw me out.
All I was doing was trying to see what happened if you swapped those little 'pads' over when the bloke in the corner is wired up to an ECG machine.

They don't half get grumpy when those alarm things go off.

Cling film over the bed pans tends to start a few heated discussions and always good for a laugh

Something in the back of my mind brings a cup and two young ladies into the equation, But that must be on another site :dunno:

When the curtains are drawn round the bed, try making farty noises and flicking Maltessers over the top. :-0)

Word of Warning Sandra!
Courgette cake and for that reason any other home baked cake is bad for anyone with a triple bypass (trust me i read it somewhere :-0))
so as a gesture of goodwill please send all surplus cake to ME and i will dispose of it in a environmentally friendly manner

Further update about John...

Sandra sent me a text this morning.
John had his op yesterday, Was on the table for eight hours.

She was finally allowed to see him at 03;00 this morning.

It appears the op went well, his blood pressure is a bit low, but otherwise he's stable.

Thoughts are with you, (Both John and Sandra !)

Wishing you a good, speedy recovery John.

I have a spy in the hospital who will be reporting back if she can get onto the ward, any updates will be posted ;-0))
