I read that the tax on some cars is going to be £800 + as from April 1st.. I think they are trying to drive people away from cars

Only affects cars bought after April 2017. Cars bought or registered before then will continue on the old system.

The stalling problem is a bit of a myth. The only time it's an issue is if you start and stop it immediately when it's really cold. Even then, it mainly affected the early ones. Ive done it once in 5-6 years of ownership and it was my own stupid fault for moving the car off the driveway one winter morning.
He was doing the instruction as part of the car launch so def early ones. Plus you have people who hadn't driven them (i.e. were waiting collection) so all just right for people stalling.

And you say you did it. Hardly a myth. Any other car you just drop the clutch and hit the starter again.

I've stalled the Blackbird more times than the RX8.:D
