Cheers Rolfy,

Anita said the basque and stockings are out as she doesnt want to set the wrong impression first time. Maybe next time !!!

Seriously, Anita is fine about it all, and the invite for Sunday would be very nice. Thank you both very much.

We may take you up on your offer of a coffee tomorrow to meet you both before Sunday if that is OK with you.

We have only been on one rideout before with B.I.R.D. members, so we are really looking forward to meeting everyone. It really is a very friendly "club"

See you tomorrow.

Noted Rolfy.

Smixxy and I are organising rendezvous / plan of attack (hoping to catch the Severn bridge toll booths napping d04l1ng ) and are aiming to be at Llandovery for 14:00hrs ish (enough time for a quick leg stretch before joining your train). Depending on how the day goes, I may end up at yours or peel off at Worcester, but since Mrs MM has given me a long day pass from barracks I might grab a lump of charcoal at Chez Rolfy before heading back. :yo:

Granted a pass out for tomorrow. Took SHIMBO for a 150 mile ride today and both she and the Bird performed faultlessly so the Birds problem was solved with a new battery!

The LLandovery 2pm 'meet' seems good, any chance of joining the Severn Bridge raiding party?

We'll be making our first approach onto the Severn Bridge at approximately 12:30hrs. The plan is to take out the sentries and charge across at full throttle, avoiding tolls in the process. ETA at Llandovery will be around 14:00hrs.

Depending on where you are Eric, we've a few options for a rendezvous. From my place in Weymouth, I'm going A37, A371 to Smix's, then A371, M5, M4, A40 to Llandovery. There are two service stations (Gordano on the M5 near Bristol and Magor on the M4 as soon as you get over the bridge) where we could meet up.

Where would you prefer? As Smix said, drop me a PM if you wish to discuss further.

Regards

MM

I know you will now be enjoying the ride out but thanks for the best wishes.:yo:

To quote Mother (well into 80's...I'm adopted) 'Everything is worn out, old age is not good, men are lucky they don't generally go on this long so you won't have to go through this' ................ not certain I wanted to hear that!

Hook or Crook I will get to the SOSB!

HI Guys,

Got back at 7pm, after a v enjoyable day. Good to see familiar faces, meet some newbies, and catch up with a few Birdies.

Weather was excellent, and not too much traffic considering it was a holiday w/e. Not surprisingly, more bikes than cages.

Thanks Rolfy and Jan for organising it.

Regards,

Chris
