Brake pedal

cheers Joe

now I know of the options, at least I can look at whether its worth the expense. Will sit down and decide whether I'm a 'sensible' (or senile!) type and if the espense would be better spent on a new rear shock, now there goes another argument !!

Is a lunp

twat. course i didnt, i delinked the brakes so dont use the rear now, infact i am thinking of removing the rear system totally to save on weight.

I did 100k+ with linked on my old Bird and liked them mucho. Current Bird is delinked - also like mucho, especially being able to use back at slow speed in town. Also no worries at MOT time on rear failing.

On balance, probably prefer linked as I am more Captain Sensible than V. rossi Esq.

As an aside, I don't remember ever taking the rear wheel off to clean the pistons. Maybe mind is playing tricks on me.:dunno:

Either way, a clean with brake cleaner and toothbrush followed by red rubber grease every time pads were changed kept mine in good order.
