I had contis on the VFR, they were good on that but not sure they would hold up on the Bird.

As far as the ST's go, fantastic in the dry, not been happy with them in the wet at all.
done 3500 on them, at most i'll get another 1000.

I was speaking to the trade guys again yesterday and the subject of Conti Roads came up again. They told me that the Continental Road Attack was developed on tracks in Germany using only Honda Blackbirds!d34l Blimey!!!

and they are not dual compound but "progressive compound" so there is a progressive fading of hard to soft from centre to edge?

Wheel see anyway!

Mine are on...just waiting for the MOT then I'll have a blast too!
Do you mind if I ask what you paid for them?

Be interested to know how the Sport Attacks are in comparison if anyone knows?

I had a pair of Road Attacks fitted about a month ago having always used BT020s. I prefer them to the Bridgestones; however, most of my riding has been with the "speed moderator" sat on the back!

Erm, will have to check with Steve whether the same price applies to everybody else too....if he can do it, I'll post the number up and you can give him a ring.

Ok, just spoken to the mechanic.

They will do the Conti road attack's 'C' type for ?160, ride in ride out.

Bear in mind it's only a small garage with only the owner (Steve) and one staff member (Chris), so it may take a little longer than a tyre specialist place. I have however, been using them for years and they are very good.
When you phone just say you got the number from Blackbird Rick.

He's not a tyre dealer mate so you would have to give him at least a days notice for him to get them in. He can get them next day but needs to know before midday I think.
