Cheers for the cash guys (and girl technically I suppose), I'll transfer it to the Halifax account.

Unfortunately it looks like Supabird (Steve), Biker Babe (Traaaaaace) and Rivabill (Bill surprisingly enough) will be joining the celebration. Apologies to all that know these people for this. At least Fudgy sn't going to be there

Hopefully Steve won't be bringing his chromed shed with him.F1sh1ing

I'm sure we're up above 50 now and I'm sure a few more will pay on the gate from other groups and stuff.

The evening quiz is just about done and ready for the sheets to be printed, the space dust has been delivered too.

Quiz will be team based, 2-5 persons, £5 per team entry and winning team will get half the money collected with the rest being added to the fund. The quiz has sport and bike related questions and general knowledge but hopefully fairly simple as the Blackbird lot are not best known for their intelligence (come and prove us wrong)

Space dust and beer drinking contest and quiz will be done on Saturday evening.

Numbers are now 53 - I am hoping some of the guys from TRC will still be coming - was going to give them a 'shove' about it last week, but with the news of Grib I figured I'd wait a bit. Roebird and Roman (some will have met them at the May Bash) from Biker Babble are coming too, and so far we have four non bike friends of Ben on the list. Hopefully, as Lumpy says, there might be some more arriving on the day. :yo:

I am going to the Rugby Club tonight to chat with Sam (the girl who sorts their social stuff out). It looks like they will be able to have food on for both evenings, and it sounds quite reasonable. She's going to give me a menu tonight, so I will scan it and post it up as soon as I'm in work tomorrow :-0)

There were some fantastic photos of Ben posted on here. Obviously for web reasons, the sizes were generally quite small. If anyone is willing to send me some bigger files of the photos, I will get as many as I can printed out so we can have some displayed.

Nope.....Trace has refused to ride on the 4" square pillion pad that I fitted on especially for her. Reckons that it would be too uncomfortable for a 200 mile each way trip !!!! :-0) So.....it's a travel in comfort weekend. :-0)

EVENT SITE

Met Smixxy at the site last night, what a great venue and helpful staff. Food will be available for Saturday and Sunday brekky, AND Saturday evening and most probably Friday evening too. Showers and loos available in the clubhouse from 8 in the morning til midnight, great bar with DVD facilities onto a screen, decent beer and lager plus Pimms for Wolfie. Good camping field, designated place for having a fire too if you so choose. Well impessed. Nice one Smixxy.:bow:

We've discussed to probable requirements so it should be okay. Brekky serving from about 8am but to be safe get there early. Eddies tent is a good second source of goodies.
