So you are a patriotic Brit. who
- doesn't like leftie leanings here
- doesn't like asylum seekers
- feel that the UK is unsfae for your children
- move to the socialist republic of France

where the social welfare system is equally as wide ranging and as big a strain on the economy as here and where parts of major cities are no go areas for whites and where the rule of law is obeyed less and civil unrest is always bubbling under the surface and erupts into violence and killings at the drop of a hat.
France also has problems with extremists from all quarters.
Corruption on a scale unheard of in the UK

Are there no dangers to children in France?

A true Brit? A true Frenchman. Will you be happy for your children to marry outside their religion, culture, country.

A BNP supporter in France?

Entertaining is one way of describing your posts.

Absolutley agree with everything you stated, how can I be a true Brit if I live in another country, I shall move back straight away.

If they are true asylum seekers, then why do they travel across half the world to get here ? Free housing, money ???

I would not allow my children to marry outside their culture.

There is alot of unrest in France and the Muslims will find out very soon that they are not welcome. Britain could do well to follow suit.

Why can't I be a BNP activist if I live in France ?

Maybe you could answer me this, if the immigrants decide they don't like this country, they have the option of moving back to where they came from, where do the Brits go if they don't like it ?

I'm glad you find my posts entertaining, after all, it's only a game.

serious sideline .......

There is alot of unrest in France and the Muslims will find out very soon that they are not welcome.
when I was over in Denver at Xmas I got talking to a guy at a party. Now OK, this is an area that is staunch Republican, and everyone at the party is seriously connected politically and financially, but this guy was saying that "France is fucked with the Muslim issue", which was news to me. He also went on, rather disturbingly, about how Obama "needs to get his act together before "someone" sorts him out for good", his implication was that Republicans will only take so much before they "replace" the president, the look in his eye was clearly meant for me to swap the word "replace" with "take-out" ...... scary, he wasn't kidding either. As a nation they have a history of capping people that don't fit ........ Obama must be the most 'popular unpoular president' ever, literally half the population love him and the other half hate him.

but do explain the grass roots French situation ........ please (serious now) ta

Fair point - well made

Just wanted to bring it back on track

This isn't about idealism - it's about real issues in a real world

Basically the French have had enough of ALL immigrants, including the English. No change there really, but they have had a gut full of the third world mob bleating on about how hard done by they are, although the receive most of the state aid. Also they are unwilling to fit into the French way of life.
We live in a rural area and have been told we have been accepted by the village.

Does that mean you will be staying there then? :-0) Oh, BTW your beloved BNP will never lead this Country - thank God!

Serious questions Osprey03
Do you intend to stay in France?
You and your children take on French citizenship?
Play a full part in French culture and French politics.?

As we have already agreed upon France, has it's problems just the same as the UK.

We live in rural Lincolnshire and have had and continue to have a great quality of life. Children raised, now 28 and 25.

Apart from a bit better weather, what does France offer that is so much better for you and your family than the UK?

I am not criticising your decision just interested in what made you decide.

We love holidaying in France, 4 times now, all on the bike and have thought about having a retirement home there. But emigrating is a whole different ball game.

Sorry to drift off the original thread topic but as with all threads they do evolve.

Oh yep, I only come back to the UK to take your money !!! Pay my tax in France, less than the UK.

Why not ? What party would you like to see govern this country ?
Labour -riches to ruin, cuts in services, increase in foreign aid Liberal - sell the arses for a pound or Conservatives - cuts in services, higher taxes but increase in foreign aid. That's your choice - vote for one of the 3 and put Britain last - umm, I bet your proud to be British !!
BNP - Stop foreign aid and invest it in Britain, leave Europe saving ?42 million/day and invest it in Britain, get out troops out of Afganistan, saving ?1 billion/ year and invest it in Britain - get the generally jest yet ?

Hi matey,

At the moment we have no intention of leaving France, but if we did it would be further South.

We are in the process of getting French nationality and we do take part in the cultural side. French politics is a different ball game, I do get involved in the very local level of politics.

You are a lucky chap to be content with your life, long may it continue.

Why did we move to France, good question. We believe it will be safer for my girls living in an extremely rural location. We lived in a place called Uckfield and it was good 12+ years ago, then gradually the immigrants took over, now it's another 3rd world shithole.

Fella, I know we are at different ends of the political spectrum, but anytime you are near us, then you are always welcome to stop over. And I don't goose step around waving the Nazi flag, well, not since the court order !!
