Islam4UK, a platform for the global front Al-Muhajiroun, would like to announce the launch of a momentous march that is scheduled to take place in the following weeks, details of which will be released shortly inshaa'allah (God willing).

The destination of this very special event is the small market town of Wootton Bassett, located 6 miles Southwest of Swindon, in northern Wiltshire; Wootton Bassett, is currently famous for its public mourning processions held in memory of British soldiers killed whilst on military service in Afghanistan; coffins containing the dismembered bodies of these soldiers are usually draped in union jack flags and driven through the town centre from RAF Lyneham, as a tribute to their ?sacrifice'.

The proposed march by members of Islam4UK is however of a very different venture, held not in memory of the occupying and merciless British military, but rather the real war dead who have been shunned by the Western media and general public as they were and continue to be horrifically murdered in the name of Democracy and Freedom - the innocent Muslim men, women and children.

It is quite extraordinary, that with well over 100,000 Muslims killed in Afghanistan in the last 8 years that those military serviceman who have directly or indirectly contributed to their death are paraded as war heroes and moreover honoured for what is ultimately genocide.

We at Islam4UK find this totally unacceptable and as a result have decided to launch the ?Wootton Bassett March' to highlight the real casualties of this brutal Crusade.

To give time to draw in the extreme right wingers. They referr to the conflict as a Crusade to try and make out that it's purely a Christian invasion. To draw in the muslim extremists.

A Facebook group was started yesterday "NO TO THE PLANNED ISLAM4UK MARCH THROUGH WOOTTON BASSETT"

It now has almost 39,000 members.

This has prompted more comment and discussion than I have EVER seen on any group of forums.
Police.. Farcebook.. Bike forums.. Military.. Local community (even the local WI forum) and local news.
All are overwhelmed with vociferous comments in all replies.

I really hope that the Chief Constable of the local force (Sorry service) bans the march.

And of course, after the G8 death and numerous complaints about police brutality in London, any 'public order' groups may not want to be as 'hands on' in any public order situation in the town that the march causes if it is allowed to take place.

This could end up with a lot of people taking out all of the frustrations caused by the disgusting idea of a march on those despicable people taking part. People doing it could get hurt, and no one wants that to happen, do they?

Wiltshire Police are aware of the media reports concerning a proposed march through Wootton Bassett organised by a group called Islam 4uk and the significant community concern which has ensued. There is clear legislation, contained in the 1986 Public Order Act, which dictates the process to be undertaken by the organiser before any such march can lawfully take place. The Public Order Act states that the organiser must inform the police of the date, time and route of the proposed procession, together with the name and address of the organiser. If the march or procession is believed to be likely to result in serious disorder, disruption or damage, then the police can impose conditions upon the organiser. In exceptional circumstances, the police may apply to the Local Authority for an order prohibiting such a march. In these particular circumstances, Wiltshire Police will be liaising closely with the local community and our partner agencies. Furthermore, contact will be sought with the organisers at the earliest opportunity in order to determine the facts of the proposed march. To date there has been no contact from Islam4uk or any other group wishing to arrange such a march in Wootton Bassett. Whilst Wiltshire Police respect the right of the public to partake in peaceful protests, public safety is of paramount importance and compliance with the law essential
