Been catching up on Glastonbury this evening. Always kind of quite liked these guys from a distance......... Absolutely blown away by their set@tu*@tu*@tu*. Kings of cool maybe?

Well worth a look.

But WTF was that 'Heroes Symphony' or whatever it was called. What a pile of poo.

Seen them live a few times & always put on a cracking show. Will have to watch it on catch up.

My favorite band, I've seen them a few times and never been bad, saw them the first time at Milton Keynes Bowl with Brian Adams as a supporting singer, he was dreadful!! :dunno:

That's the first time saw them too. Did you notice a third of the crowd leaving after Brian Adams?

I'd forgotten he was there, must have been so traumatic unlocked him from my memory @tu*

If you haven't got them they get their first few albums. I've always felt their stipped down blues stuff to be better than the more chart oriented stuff

@tu*

However I found the Glastonbury set lacking in any passion. If i'd played the same tunes the number of times they have I'm sure I'd' be the same but it didn't seem as sharp or focussed as previously. Yes I know they're older. That may be why.

As a newbie I liked the way they were understated and made it look effortless rather than prancing around stage. Masterful to my eyes.

Bit disappointed that the guitars didn't do the 360 degree spin in Legs, and really upset the Legs video wasn't on the big screen.:cry:

I saw them at the Brixton academy around '94, or whenever "N" reg was current(had new company car, no issue parking in Brixton) fantastic gig just after they were starting to have mainstream hits.
