We certainly had a good day, well done Smix for all the effort it was well appreciated!

As a 'day tripper' (body too knackered to envisage camping) I failed to meet all that were present ................ but you didn't miss much.

Highlight of the ridout has to have been when we all had to stop in a small country lane to let a load of posh k..bs park their cars, unload kids, rearrange their kilts, fancy dress tarten trousers, top hats and tails and walk to the church for a wedding! Being posh they can aparently block roads at their own convinience. When we got moving I so nearly managed to claim a door from an M3 convertible .............. and I was running as tail end charlie

Thanks must go to the weather, perfect all day ................... not so good now though, hope they got the tents packed early.

Anybody for extra salad :dunno:

Bloody great weekend....

The only down side being that the pub tried to poison Lumpy.... No doubt he will get his revenge on them at some time or other...
Then poor Morph tried to wind him up without any success (Dont think Mac was up to much Satdy morning mate)...

Hope ya feeling better now Mac... Good to see ya again mate...

Eddie, the guy at the pub wants to know when the rest of the feckin circus is arriving for your party tent...LOL

Great ride out on Saturday... Lovely weather, lovely roads, and even a wedding thrown in for good measure with attendees in Tatan trew & kilts... Feckin ponces !!!! Volvo drivers blocking all the roads so that even the bride couldnt arrive....

Good first camping trip... Mabe even do it again :dunno:ya never know

All those that didnt come missed a great weekend.. It only rained for about 3 hours on Sunday morning, and even that didnt dampen our spirits...

Home now with the washing machine is on as I'm riding to N Wales tomorrow then onto Edinburgh on Wed.....I'm so tried I just want to sleep! lol

Not sure how many scary stories there are (I was at the front of the rideout :} )

but I have found out that we do have some seriously BIG spiders in the area that I wasn't previously aware of!!! It seemed to like my tent initially - under my sleeping bag (no photo as I had to ask Gypsy to remove it!)

But, then Artemis got it, so I felt safer - till after tea when it seemed to have gotten loose!!!!!!

We had some non camping visitors Friday for tea - Brilliant to see Sammy and Dawn and Alex. Brilliant to see Morphgarth too, especially since he was mad enough to come back the next day to help on the rideout !! (Thank you lots too to Pete/Eric to being TEC )

Lumpy turned up on the little Blue bike - think it was so Rolfy didn't have the only Kwaker on site!! LOL

Sadly this seemed to upset the Lumpster

Not wanting to disturb the eating diners, Rolfy goes under the banister!!!!

Nina was happy when Wuz sorted the ice creams at the first stop!!

Lunch took a while to arrive (apparently they had to go get more salad, which of course we all finished!!!!!!)

But twas worth it - great food and great conversation

and some relaxing

Lovely day saturday for brekkie - ran out of mugs, so Malepmt had to have the 'posh' 'glass'!!!

but today - wet wet and very wet, but we still had cooked breakfast (in a sandwich!!) - after me and Melz emptied the inside of my tent into the car!!! had swapped bike for car last night to enable safe transfer of takeaway to campsite!!)

Rolfy, we had a great run back as there was no rain until about half an hour ago. The teepee is erected once again in the garden to finish the drying process.
MalePMT, Wuz UK, great to meet you both, but an even greater pleasure to meet young Nina, what a treasure! She wouldn't even take a sweetie. Smart girl!

Thanks for arranging it all smix shame i couldn't stay for the ride out but it was nice to meet you all and i enjoyed the time i did have... next time the dog can eat the house im STAYING
