Zoom on smart tv

I do not think it would work going straight to a telly, unless you can upload a zoom platform first
Zoom is an encrypted pier to pier format
If it was not then anyone could join any group

I think you may be able,to get the sound across but not the picture.

Might possibly work with a hard wire (lightning at apple end but you have Samsung , hDMI at tv end)…..I used to watch BT Sport received on ipad on tv using a hard connection….until BT blocked it.

I'm not 100% certain but I'm pretty sure anything I can get on the screen of my android tablet I can cast to the TV.
Doesn't work two way though, so no good for zoom.

I regularly send stuff from both phone and tablet at the TV

Turns out now it will be done through You Tube

I think I can mirror the phone to tv but haven't tried it.

I got YouTube to send to the TV.

It’s all well and good talking about sending stuff to a smart TV from here there and everywhere, but how about where the smart TV sat in the corner of the room has an operator who hasn’t got a bloody clue what’s going on?

If you have a smart tv you may well have a YouTube app,along with many others, already installed. All ours have, as does the Sky box.
