Apart the cover from a certain bearded Aussie I haven't listened to others. However good this one is, it is, to my uneducated ears it is poles apart from the original.

My two favourite tracks are "Thank You" and "No Quarter". The latter needs to be on loud

Ann or is it Nancy? Wilson has put on a bit of weight since the days of Barracuda and Dreamboat Annie! The best cover of Stairway I've heard was Frank Zappa at Wembley Arena 1988. Nothing will ever top the original tho.

Well considering the members of LED who were present reckoned it was the closest rendition to how they wanted to hear it, its pretty lucky your qualified that statement with the 'uneducated ears' bit @tu*

Dunno why my missus calls me a funny old ladyparts but there ya go. :dunno:

Watched that vid 3 times now. The first time, parts of it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up....second gave me goosebumps at the same time as I raised my eyebrows and said to messen, "Ohhh for fooks sakes". This last time I have seen through the smoke and mirrors. OTT shite...but very good shite. As for Page and Plant in their establishment clothes...I am fekkin gutted. What a pair of fekkin luvvies. :wank:

Like everyone ( bar one exception ) I liked the rendition.. the members of the band that made it theirs liked it...
I dunno what that means other than all bar one dissenter thought it was a great cover.. Thats really about it :-0)
