YouTube Capture - neat way

It's been asked on here loads of times, 'what's the best way to download Tube footage locally'. Lots of ways work: plug ins / add ons for browsers, the old "PWN" the URL trick etc and decicated apps

Was just chatting to the Cackpipe Cosmonaut and discovered a really neat trick:

Right click the hyperlink below and select 'bookmark this link'

Capture YouTube

Now when you're watching a Tube vid and you fancy grabbin' it, just click the bookmark you just added. You'll get a yellow banner at the top of the YouTube screen with a pair of links (MP4 & FLV) - right click one of these and choose 'save as'

Neat and tidy

it's not meant to work mate............... right click it then tell me what your options are in Internet Exploder

You want something along the lines of 'bookmark this link'........IE will call it a favourite, 'add link as favourite' maybe?

That's the one Steve - right click then 'add to faves'...... now watch a YouTube clip, got to the top of your browser click favourites and then click the one you just added.......... bingo
