I left my first bmw, quite a rare model in an unusual colour, on the promenade at Worthing ….when we went back to it it didn’t unlock automatically as it should, tried the fob and no dice…eventually noticed that it had a bright red interior, mine was cream……

Did this a few weeks ago outside a mates house and couldn't understand why the boot wouldn't open ..... my car was 3 spaces away :jaja-no:

years ago my MIL and her sister parked her red Renault 4 on the harbour at Conway North Wales. they took the dogs for a walk and got fish and chips on their return. They sat in what they thought was their car and ate the fish and chips, upon finishing my MIL went to get the dogs bowls to feed and water them, She couldnt find them although she was sure they had been put in the car. When it dawned on them they were in the wrong car they made a hasty retreat to find their car. I would love to have seen the rightful owners faces when they returned to the smell of fish and chips lingering inside their car

Last night we called for fish & chips for tea, I parked up whilst Bev went to get the fish & chips, I parked in front of a black Corsa, Bev came out of the chippy & opened the passenger door of the Corsa, the driver nearly spat his chips out.

I was in my first trip abroad on my new Triumph Trophy and arrived at Portsmouth ferry port to meet my mates. I set the alarm and it unlocked the car nearby. I was able to set off the alarm in the car at will, much to our delight

A guy I knew in Dublin was from Belfast

In the 70s troubles in N.I. he double parked outside theatre to run in and collect pre booked tickets.
When he came out there was a guy sitting in his car. He pulled open the door and in good Belfast accent ordered yer man out of car.

As he was having at yer man he suddenly noticed his car, identical, parked in front.

I'm sure the guy thought he was being hijacked.

On a similar note

Our tv remote decided to pack up and the replacement would have been very expensive so i bought one of those where you can program it to any telly, for whatever reason two turned up :nusenuse:

I sorted ours out no problem and then with the help of his missus programed the other one to my mates telly, they lived next door so for 3 days I was able to change his telly at will from outside the window :meparto:
Great fun making him miss all the pansy ball goals when he was watching his beloved team or waiting until he was snoozing and whacking the volume up :meparto:
