Fuel tank vacuum

Andy, Your fuel tap has a vacuum feed to close it off in the event of an accident. I found it easiest to use the three way adapter supplied by Scottoiler to take the feed from this source. Fitting well worth the effort. Over 10000 miles on this chain and never needed to be adjusted. :yo:

Easily solved

Andy, I found the easiest way was to use the teepiece supplied to take the vacuum feed from the fuel tap. Cut, teepiece in and the third leg to the Scottoiler. :yo:

With the fishes

Yup Andy. If you haven't got one supplied with the oiler or maybe it is a second fit, then the Pet shop or a motorcar place as they have them for the screenwasher. :yo:

Andy, I fitted mine yesterday, On the front of the fuel tap there is a pipe that points to the offside. Cut that pipe and fit your t piece in there. From what I remember of it, it is only a couple of mil thick, a fish tank type one is about 10 times to thick. You will need an original part from scottoilers. I'm taking it that all new oilers are the same when it comes to this part. I fitted the large ?95 one which sits behind the number plate.
