It would appear that health and safety rules aren't quite as stringent in some parts of the Eastern Bloc.

I particulary liked the first clip and those at 2.36 and 4.42.

Vulcan has of course gone with Concord to the great runway in the sky now.. We was at Lincoln showground on the day of its last flight, and it made two passes for all the folk attending the show

I was near Wilmslow on it's last flight. Ideally placed to see the flypast at Woodford and then the flypast at Ringway.

There's a reason why the Vulcan is the only heavy bomber to have a joystick rather than a yoke. If you ask any aircrew who have flown one they'll tell you that it handles more like a big, heavy fighter than a bomber.

Slightly pointless fact - At high altitude Vulcans could (and did) out turn F15's...! (the big delta wing makes a massive difference in thin air).

I am not sure who is cooler in this - the driver looking so relaxed while saying 'but I am going slow, I'm only doing 250kmh' or his lady - she only really panics about ten times going round The Nurburgring and even manages quite a few smiles in between.

And an ex-F1 driver showing how to drive a roadmcar on the track.

Bit of a slow starter this one, pick it up at around 1:40.

Despite Mrs Patrese's protests I think she quite enjoyed it.

I also like that the Italian for 'throwing up' is 'vomito'
