Yamahahaha Diversion 600

Ok all you knowledgable bikers/motorcyclists.

I am thinking of getting a 600 Diversion just to use when I am working. So it won't do many miles, just slow riding behind the learners.

So anyone had any experience with these bikes ?

So anyone had any experience with these bikes ?

Tried a mate's one out for a couple of days and it does what it says on the tin. Build quality is not fantastic, suspension is lacking once you start to 'push on' a bit, but as a second bike/hack you could do worse.
As a short/medium distance commuter it'll get you from A-B with no fuss and no drama. For anything else, it's utterly forgettable.

Just my personal thoughts.

start ride get off, day in day out, bloke at our club has one, it just keeps on going, so far he has, crashed in 3 times, ran it out of oil, got bare wires hanging out everywhere and yet the thing still keeps on going.

:blush: used one as winter hack for past two years. engine sounded like it was on its last legs when I got it and still does. Not exciting but just keeps on going, about to be superceeded by BMW K100 (not sure if I'm gonna like this one) :dunno: might be alright when I take the pipe and carpet slipper rack off, already had to throw fairing away, couldn't get through the traffic with it

Hi Loobrush.
To be honest you might as well pay a few quid more an get the XJ 900.a better bike all round. Just my thoughts mined.
