Xmas disaster

So I designed a spectacular trifle dish, bought some lovely crystal individual trifle dishes, made some chocolate spoons and have practiced the dish four times to get it right.

But I have tried three supermarkets this morning and none have any Kelly's Chocolate BROWNIE ICE CREAM, a key component.

So that's that screwed, will have to go with the Kelly's Honeycomb instead, but it really will not provide the stunning delight that I had planned for Boxing Day.

Xmas is ruined.

One Easter I decided to make some creme brulees from scratch, I thought I would adorn them with sugar spirals, out of about 30 spirals I managed to get 4 that were good enough to put on the brushes, I put them in the fridge to cool, when the time came to serve them I dropped them on the floor.
