Here..I'm watching a bike on fleabay.
The reg complies with make and model via DVLA.
In the background & on the drive, assuming it's the same house?
Sits another bike, can't make out the model but the reg is clearly on display.
Checked this reg via DVLA and it turns up as a 2016 Nissan Duke, black/petrol?
What's going on there??

I have an interest in ‘cherished’ plates and often spot and search the ones that catch my eye

I Drove past a garage recently which had 2 cars different makes and models and colour displaying the same plate ...it was just a normal AB18ABC for example (I spotted it as they were next to each other)
Later I did a quick search and it belonged to neither car !
If I hadn’t been with the Mrs I would have popped into the garage

The DVLA are a bit slow due to lockdown , so if it was a cherished plate, it may not have updated on the system yet !

Also a neighbours V5 came back and describes his car as being yellow .... it never has been yellow !
DVLA can make mistakes

But if you don't spot the mistake on the log book when you receive it, it becomes your fault if there's any reason to query it later.

A BIT slow !!
5 to 7 weeks to apply for a replacement log book by post at the moment....
Sadly, since they lost the 'local' offices they are simply not fit for purpose with the amount of mistakes being made
