would you grass or not??

what would you do :dunno:

i know some old codger..indirectly..in his late 70's
now he is one of these knowalls etc..you know the type..body late 70's mind 16 etc
in the last year his eyesight has gone from ferking useless to cant see almost ferk all now..can even see a fag in front of him to roll it up :eek:
he still driving about in his 4x4 jeep..yes he is in his 70's and he has a poser 4x4
now he cant see fook all except maybe lights at a distance and gets his wife or whoever is in the car to watch out for things in front..push bikes etc and let him know they are there..you get the picture :rolleyes:

now do i turn a blind eye (no pun intended lol) and hope he doesnt hurt or kill someone..or do i report him to the plod for obvious reasons before someone is hurt or killed
im leaning towards the grassing stage but feel guilty about it for obvious reasons 8l1nd 8l1nd

Turn him in.

It could be me that he shunts off of the bike when his wife is not watching the road for him. God knows how she can even get in the car with him knowing how bad his eyesight is. :mad:

Bloke is a twat.. If he needs glasses to drive but refuses to do so then he needs removing from his licence asap !

Picture the scenario:-

You get a call from the Police telling you that one of your family has been rundown by this person.

How would you then feel, knowing that you'd had the opportunity to remove this obvious danger from the roads.

Price of a phonecall to DVLA/Plice is a lot cheaper than a funeral.

This guy is obviously a menace to other road users. :eek: Get him off the roads, it could be someone you know or a family member that gets snuffed out by this geezer. :violin:

Don't you have annual eye testing in the UK for over 70's? :dunno:

Several years ago I called into our local pub where I bumped into some friends of ours, I chatted with them for a while (I had only called in for some cigs for our lass) they let slip in the conversation that they could not get a baby sitter, and had left their children (ages 7 and 5) alone in the house, I told them that one of them had better get home as they were being irresponsible, they just laughed it off, I then informed them that I would inform the police, they thought I was bluffing, when I arrived home I watched to see if they had returned home, when it was clear that they were not in any hurry to return home, I phoned the police and told them which pub they were in, about ten minutes later they returned home with a police escort.

It was several months before they spoke to either me or our lass, but had they never spoken to us again I know that I did the right thing for the sake of the children.

Tell him that he is not fit to drive and if he persists in doing so you will shop him, he may never speak to you again but at least people will be safe.

I cant pass my bloody driving test because im overtaking buses pulling in at a stop and shouldnt have done.(????) The examiners are taking the piss out of me and we have some fookin idiot driving around like that???????? (sorry, but i feel very strongly about this)

You need to shop him,,,, its peoples lives at stake. :mad:

You are asking the question Reefer,, ring DVLA or Plod,,, chap is a phook-wit,, even if it was my old man I would grass him up if he didn't listen to reason.
Could be you he knocks off m8,,,,, happened to me in June,, blind Zimmer couldn't see two bird headlights coming towards him :mad:
