Call me old fashioned if you like but I don't ride a bike just because I like it, but because it's transport. Oh, and I haven't got a car. If I did it'd only take up room in the garage and make shuffling the bikes around hellish difficult.
And since when did it only rain in winter? Got absolutely soaked in Germany in July, not experienced winter rain like that in this country (that I can remember now anyway).
