Has WinMX been shut down???

Cos I cant log in to it anymore, have not used it for ages and tonight decided to download an album, but cant.


Any other free download sites out there??

A friend of mine was halfway through downloading something a couple of weeks back on WinMX and it suddenly froze, and he hasn't been able to log on since, I think it has shut down.

Think it's been shutdown due to pressure from the recording compnaies.

Try Limewire instead, someone on here recommended it to me - use it all the time

As Berticus says try Limewire its as good as WinMX.
