~Wheel compatability for Bird

As I can't be arsed searching the forum, can anyone confirm my vague memory that only a front wheel from a carb Bird will fit the carb Bird.......wheel from FI no good.

Or was it the rear that was not interchangable?

The rear wheels will fit both Carb and Fi.

The front wheels have different spacings, the spacers/bearings are set differently, and the discs end up couple of three mill out ( too much to not bother with).

You can change the front wheels between carb and inj bikes if you change the whole lot ( wheel, discs, spacers, bearings etc )

The front hub is bigger on the injection bikes for the bigger bearings and that needed a different disc fitting and spacers.
