I have 99T with nearly 17k on the clock.
No full honda service history. (apart from 4000 service)
Datatagged
Datatool veto alarm
Scottoiler
New chain & sprockets <2k ago (DID gold chain)
New front tyre BT020 < 1k on it
Totally standard aprt from K&N air filter
Serviced to book by self
In need of a good bloody polish round the foot pegs ect
Wheels are looking a bit cruddy from winter
2 owners.

What's it worth?

Cause I'm in deep sh ite :h and need some cash within the next 4 weeks.

Do I stick it on Ebay? :dunno:
Take it to a dealer? :dunno:
Stick it in autotrader? :dunno:
Or just hope one of you guys offer me a reasonable amount of cash for it.

Help me Obiwan your my only hope.

A dealer would try selling it in the region of ?3500-4000, I know that, as I bought one from there last week !!! Don't think they would be offering you much if you wern't after a new one on a Part-X.
Private sale through the local paper or ebay seems your best bet, but there does seem to be a lot on at the moment on ebay. What sort of money do you think it's worth ?

I've still gotta clean her up a bit but will do Mart.
I'll most prob stick it on ebay somtime next week.

I was hoping for nearer 4k for it.
I've seen 96-98 bikes going for 3500

Ah well it's gotta, I don't want to sell it but I've no choice. I've had a bike for the last 11 years and this will be the first time I won't have anything.

I feel quite depressed just thinking of selling it as I know I wont ever have anything like it again. Now your saying its nearer the 3k mark I'm even more depressed.

Don't want to depress you further still.......but be prepared for a wait while you sell it.

I put mine up almost two months ago (2002, 52 plate, black, FDSH, just over 6000 miles on her, extras, and mint condition) and was asking around ?6K. Advertised in MCN, Bike Trader, Loot, E-bay, and not a sniff. Started dropping the price by ?100 each time I advertised it.......it went down to ?5100 before I thought, I'd rather watch it rot in the garage than give it away !!!!! A dealer offered me ?4400 on a trade in......told him to poke it !!!!

Look in MCN or Bikemart and you'll see 20-30 'Birds up for sale each week..... and we're now coming to the end of the summer, so not an ideal time to be selling a bike !!!!

I wish you luck for a quick sale...but don't hold yer breath !!!! :beer:

The bike is in good overall condition
It's been ridden through 2 winters.
Paint on wheels is looking past its sell by date
No short runs, used for comuting to Oxford each day (70+ miles round trip)
I've had the bike 2 half years. no outsanding credit on it.
Just needs a good polish up. (hangers ect)

If your mate wants a mantle piece then forget it. This bike has been ridden in all weather and has been 100% reliable. The body work has cleaned up remarkabley well, it just needs one of them polishing kits to bring the rest of it up to standard.

Totaly standard, apart from k&n air filter, (been in since 12k)
Oh yeah and a 6mm spacer under the shock.
Willl need new rear tyre in about 2ks time.
Black in colour.
