So what made Christmas for you?

First at 6:30 this morning our little boy Alex finding his presents from Santa, opening a torch and him saying "How did he know it's just what I wanted".

Second Toots big smile when I told her I'd fitted a VOX activated Autocom to her "Bird".

Happy Christmas everyone!

getting up @ 6am to watch the 3yr old grandson open his pressie's and the exitement/enjoyment on his little face...had almost forgotten what it was like since my two have grown up.

down the pub with a few mates for some "refreshments",while the SWMBO got on with the christmas dinner, which was wonderful as per norm.

sleep for an hour or two, then visits from other family members just to round off a thoroughly enjoyable day.

hope everyone enjoyed

Telling the father in law he was talking out of his arse as usual. I normally just nod and say yes and no in the correct places but after 5 days of crap such as......

"You dont sharpen a knife like that..."

and "The Americans dont know how to build skyscrapers otherwise the twin towers would still be standing..."

and "We're not in the EU cos we still have the pound...."

Final straw was "You know bugger all about what your talking about lad..." (political discussion) I blew..... good style.

Family christmas's... dont you just love em !!

you TALK to your inlaws!!! theres your problem!! :t

We lost the mother in law 18mths ago to cancer. Now I got on really well with her she was the salt of the earth.

Father in Law is OK as long as you can put up with the fact that he knows best. Unfortunately he started on the subject of politics. He thinks the present labour government is the best thing since sliced bread and Margaret Thatcher was one step down from Hitler. Now the ONLY time I have voted at an election and benefited from the government passing laws which they promised in their manifesto was the election of MT and the passing of the Housing Act 1982 allowing me to buy my council house...

cue big disagreement

Yes Roy

thereby ripping off the tax-payer who had paid to have the council houses built and resulting in the current shortage of council houses as she would not allow councils to spend what little money was raised to build new council houses. She did some good for the country though???????
