To get snot off of a computer screen, my daughter Emma has just been spraying her perfume, it went right up my nose causing me to sneeze, I was just too late getting my hand there in time and now have a snotty screen, tissues just smear it.

LOL !!!!

But there is a serious side to this question..
The amount of times I have physically cringed when I see people use a spray of some sort or another on screens ( both TV and monitor types ) is amazing.

If you wanna use a spray cleaner on your screen PLEASE spray the fluid onto a cloth and use it that way..
I was shown a film when training in electronics of a CRT being sprayed with a can of Pledge ( of all things :p )..
Sudden cold of the spray and the glass went into thermal shock.. CRT imploded .. anyone standing near would have looked like a load of mincemeat.

My children have, over the years, found a multitude of different things that work..

Of course, the sleeve is a favorite,

Then human hair, thats great, and leaves the screen so clean it amazing.

Then, what about a pet........ gerbils are good, but Russian Hamsters ( the little ones) are better, they are a nice fit in the hand, and dont split when you wring them out.

Green crayon..... now thats really good, but makes reading the rest of the screen difficult later.

Hope this helps.

before any one tells me otherwise... I know I am splitting hairs, but.....

if something "implodes" all the bits go inwards.... It would need to explode for someone to get minced (sorry FB, no offense intended mate). But as a CRT contains a vacuum, it would as you say "implode" (rather like a submarine being crushed), so the bits would stay in a rather confined area...

Sorry...

boots, gloves, hi vis jacket, and off to work :xm

I was in electronics from.....1957 and for years laboured under the missapppp rehenn whatever...silly idea that as the tube implodes there was no danger in dropping a crt. Fookin silly me. I finally dropped one too hard and the glass went everywhere. It does implode but it doesn't stop in the middle......it keeps on going out the other freakin side.   I couldn't count the number of small cuts. I handled them a lot more carefully after that.
