Why is it a simple job never goes according to plan?
Ended up replacing the last 300mm of pipe with some of that flexi stuff with shut off valves.
Should make it easier to change them again in another 30 years.

I love the half hour job that goes on for 2 days.Fitted new taps in the bathroom.

You should try doing it when you can see water spraying out of the flexi joint via camera but there is no,access as the bathroom has been fully tiled including the bath panel! Never knocked a hole in a wall so quickly!!Fitted new taps in the bathroom.

Played at being a plumber’s assistant.
A bit of a testing morning so chilled out watching a bit of relaxing TV - ‘Hitler’s Secret Sex Life’.

Strangely it is a fascinating programme. The title is a bit misleading, lots of focus on genetic issues, ‘medication’ that was given to him and his influencers and psychology.
In summary, ‘it’s not good’.
Marvelled at two things;
- A,yellow bright shiny thing appeared in the sky for twenty minutes
- Barry Cryer has sadly passed away and derek kelly hasn’t started a thread to tell us
That’s because Derek kelly has been very busy being a plumber’s assistant & taxi driver for wife & eldest daughter.
