Got the last of the polystyrene tiles off the bedroom ceilings, just a bit of adhesive to remove….ok a lot of adhesive.
Stripped anaglypta from one bedroom & made a start on the others.
Removed bath from downstairs.

Booked myself in at another test centre as I can't be wasting any more time... Went and got another test done... Far more professional and got a lot more confidence that this one will be done correctly

Got my result at 7.35 this morning..... Negative fortunately so straight into work..... Still not had a notification about the first test though

A very silly thing, last night I set my alarm for 06:15, alarm went off at 03:55 but did I check the time? Nope, I trusted my faithful old alarm clock, got out of bed, washed, brushed teeth etc, got dressed & came downstairs, Buddy looked at me as if to say “wtf” I opened the back door to let him in the garden, made my coffee & poured a bowl of cornflakes, came into the front room & switched on my ipad & then noticed the time 04:15, looked at my watch which just confirmed that my alarm clock is in for a severe bollocking.

I knew a guy to whom the same happened in winter. He even got kids up and dressed and went off to get the bus.
Cops driving by asked him what he was doing at the bus stop...........

hmmmmm….reminds me of when I first started work…thought the trains were quiet one Monday morning, got to the branch and couldn’t get in.

Went home and had the concept of ‘bank holidays’ explained to me.

Went for a lovely walk along the front at Eastbourne in the most glorious weather.

Minkey will be pleased to know that I had a coffee, bacon roll and lump of Rocky Road in Costa.

Mrs B had coffee, bacon roll and lemon tart.

Costa decaf coffee is really excellent.

Got a quote to have a window knocked out along with the brickwork under it & French doors fitting, excellent quote so employed them on the spot, pity we’ve to wait up to five weeks for them to do the work.
