Cougar (of course :)) gets the cigar.
Fat Albert = C130 = Hercules.

Night exercise with the Hercules arriving and waiting for the two chinooks to drive up and drop off their passengers (including a dog) with a rotors running transfer. Surprising just how many fit in a chinook!

The chinooks had been messing about over the Shropshire hills and a little bit south of there - they might have woken DanBow up :)

After leaving us the chinooks went home and Albert took 'em all to the land of kilts.

Despite the best efforts of the Whitehall bean counters the old Hercibirds keep going.

The official pax capacity of the Chinook is 44, but Bravo November was moving sometimes twice that many around down South.

Both aircraft are tough, fantastic workhorses.

I've been on nights so am completely oblivious to the world.

A chinook flew over me today as I was driving around the Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire border, that's the third time in an many months, no idea where they were going to or coming from

Shooting this morning followed by helping out setting up for a rocket club weekend

Not a lot other than moving the sprinkler round the lawn this afternoon. Can’t believe how dry it’s been here, not even overnight dew.

Had a new Saniflo delivered this morning for the mother in law, very impressed, ordered unit at 15.34 yetrrday and also the cheapest price I could find.

yes, I know there is opportunities for mother in law/saniflo jokes there, fill yer boots…..:sisi1

Sort of following on from my post about my mental health, I realised that over the past few years I've closed myself off. To protect myself I built a very high wall.

So, I'm pushing myself to be more open, and tolerant. Last sunday I went out for a ride with my brother and a couple of his mates breaking 2 of my rules, not to ride on a Sunday or with people I dont know. It was shit but I did it.

Today I'm going to a well known cafe in Leominster, so put a post on a couple of Facebook biker groups and I'm, now, not going on my own.

I hope my patience and tolerance holds up!

You're not the only one...! The older I get the more anti-social and intolerant I get.

I've never suffered fools gladly, but as I get older the "piss off you're bothering me" bar gets set ever lower.
